Halifax and the Canadian Seaboard
Start your expedition by exploring Halifax, the cosmopolitan capital of Nova Scotia. We’ll also follow the Lighthouse Route to the scenic village at Peggy’s Cove. Then it’s on to the sandbars of Sable Island and its National Park Reserve, famed for wild horses and seals. Next you’ll visit the former Colonial settlement of Lunenburg before sailing to Eastport, Maine. Stroll the historic downtown district, and if weather conditions are right, join a local lobster boat to ‘Old Sow’, a natural whirlpool believed to be the biggest in the Western Hemisphere.

Seafood, Art, and the National Parks
When you arrive in Rockland, you’ll experience small-town New England charm—and perhaps savor some succulent fresh lobster. We’ll discover ‘Down East’ culture in Bar Harbor, your gateway to the wonderful scenery and diverse birdlife of Acadia National Park. In Provincetown, walk the National Seashore–protected sand dunes of Cape Cod and tour the local art scene. Your cruise comes to its close in the dynamic, historic, and characterful city of Boston.
